Anatomical (teardrop-shaped) and round implants are available for breast augmentation. These are usually filled with a silicone gel and are non-feeling. In most cases, the implants are placed under the pectoral muscle. The incision we use is scar-saving and inconspicuous.
As an alternative to artificial implants, the patient's own fatty tissue can be used, so-called lipofilling. For this purpose, unwanted fat deposits, such as those on the abdomen, thighs or hips, are suctioned out using the particularly gentle water jet technique. Subsequently, the fat cells can be injected into the breasts via mini incisions. On average, it can be assumed that between 50 and 70 percent of the fat tissue used will grow. Fine correction is possible at any time. There is also the possibility of combining breast implant and autologous fat.

A severely sagging breast, such as after pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight loss or simply due to poor connective tissue, often leads to a significant psychological burden, so that a lifting operation can be performed. Increased weight on the neck, thoracic, and lumbar spine due to excessively large breasts often leads to head, neck, shoulder, and back pain. The orthopedic discomfort then makes breast reduction often necessary for medical reasons. The scars are usually barely visible over time. As a result, a medical or an aesthetically indicated breast lift and/or reduction can thus contribute quite considerably to your physical and psychological well-being.
implant change
An implant change is always necessary if there is a defective implant or pronounced capsular fibrosis. It is recommended to change older implants according to the manufacturer's instructions. Thanks to the latest generation of implants, good results can be achieved with an implant exchange. We then often use anatomical implants to achieve a natural result.
During breast surgery, a special bra is worn for 6 weeks. Sleeping on the side and stomach is prohibited during this time. The ability to breastfeed is not affected in most cases.
